Why therapy intensives?

After receiving a heart shattering diagnosis for our son Trent, no one could give us answers on what to expect. He was already delayed and when researching Lissencephaly, his development was not in our favor. We decided try Kinactive, going in with little expectations. We were greeted by the friendliest team of professionals, that really made us feel heard. Our “little expectations” were blown out of the water. We were shown that Trent is capable of so much more. They have such a unique way of making his body feel good while strengthening him at the same time. Dana, Jamie, Dr. J and Dr. Matt were so patient with both Trent and us (his parents) as we learned how to motivate and push him to learn new things. We have completed 2 Kamps and are scheduled for another one already, each time we are amazed by his progress. Our family is forever grateful for the team at Kinactive for showing us just how capable Trent is but for also treating him like an individual and always meeting him where he is at.
